New poster here. I've seen a LOT of issues with people trying to install the drivers for the BCM20702A0 device. In my case, this is a Bluetooth adapter from Insignia, but it looks like this is common across many devices. I downloaded the .EXE from Broadcom and it gets hung up while validating Bluetooth device (see image).
I bought the NS-PCY5BMA2 USB Bluetooth Adapter today from Best Buy. I have been attempting to install the driver on my PC and have thus far been unsuccessful.. I am running Windows 10 Home with the 1511 update. I have tried the dongle in multiple USB ports and it shows up in device manager as BCM20702A0, which is its designation from Broadcom. INSIGNIA support - it is completely ridiculous that you are allowing this amount of community reqeusts to go unaccounted for. Customers should NEVER be needing to go to a 3rd party driver site, unless and until YOU have verified the veracity of the download offered. When I download and run the setup, the process gets stuck on "Validate Bluetooth Device" and in the same dialog box there is a message "Failed to Update Bluetooth Software." Aw man the download link for brcmbluetoothinjector.kext.zip no longer works. And I for the life of me can't figure out how to create it. Any chance there's another direct link to the injector.kext or a tutorial on how I would create it through the github repository?
